Ways participate during BIPOCVampDay weekend:

1. SHARE YOUR BIPOC VAMPIRES USING #BIPOCVAMPDAY

Use #bipocvampday across social media (IG, Bluesky, Facebook, Tiktok, etc) with your posts. Share your cosplay, makeup looks, OCs, book projects, comics, movies/TV shows, TTRPG/RPG/Video games and more. If you’re a BIPOC creator or have BIPOC vampire designs – this is the weekend to share them.

2. BOOST THE EVENT & POSTS

Not a BIPOC creator? – Participate by boosting the event and sharing creations you see. Share your favorite book, comic, movie/show, game, or art featuring BIPOC vampires. Draw someone’s creation and bring attention to the event. Never underestimate the power of word of mouth.

Need graphics for promotion? You’ll find those here.

3. DONATE TO OUR VIRTUAL BLOOD DRIVE

September is also Sickle Cell Awareness Month – a blood based illness that disproportionately affects Black, Indigenous & POC communities – so it only felt appropriate to use this event to spread awareness and raise funds for the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America. Help us reach our goal of $2k by donating or spreading the word. From $1 to $100, every amount makes a difference – and you can get raffle tickets for some fabulous prizes and rewards starting at $5! More details on our Charity page.

If you’re a streamer and would like to join our fundraising stream team on Tiltify, contact us!

4. BIPOC VAMPIRES TTRPG/RPG/GAMES

Every year we have wonderful and unique BIPOC vampire TTRPG/RPG Games during the weekend on Twitch/Tiltify and YouTube. Want to host a TTRPG/RPG or stream during the event? Stay tuned for more info or contact us.

5. VAMPIRES OF COLOR ANTHOLOGY ZINE

Our fifth annual anthology zine, Vampires of Color, will be accepting submissions for 2026 soon. If you’re an artist, writer or creative who wants to showcase BIPOC vampires – you can learn more here.

6. LOCAL/ONLINE EVENTS

BIPOC vampires around the world host in person events every year, so you never know what you’ll find – photoshoot meetups, fundraising events, social gatherings and affiliated events. If you have an event planned during BIPOC VampDay weekend or would like to host one – let us know so we can spread the word. Contact us!

7. DONATE BLOOD

While our blood-drive is virtual, you can make an in person blood donation during BIPOC VampDay weekend at your local blood donation center. Your donation could help alleviate the symptoms of someone living with Sickle Cell Disease, or even help save their life.

  • More than 100,000 people in the United States have Sickle Cell Disease.
  • Sickle Cell Disease affects 1 out of every 365 Black or African American births.
  • People with Sickle Cell Disease may need as many as 100 units of blood each year.
